OSWave Operating System.

Use following firmware files to upgrade devices already running OSWave system to the most recent version of OSWave. These are common firmware files to be used across all supported hardware platforms.

You can easily upgrade from any OSWave version to the most recent one (2.21R) without any issues.
Your device configuration will remain unchanged.

Please use this firmware file if you are upgrading your Ovislink Airlive WLA-5000AP or Ovislink Airlive WLA-5000APv2 device running original firmware to the OSWave system.

Original Firmware files for various Atheros SOC based Access Points:

Please use these firmware files as base for upgrading your device to OSWave system. We have tested upgrading to OSWave from these particular firmwares and although it is not mandatory, it may be a good idea that you also use these firmwares to upgrade your device to OSWave.

You can also use these files to downgrade your device running OSWave to the original stock firmware. The downgrade process has also been tested using these particular files.

Please note than unlike OSWave firmware, these files must be loaded onto specific device types - ie. you should not load Wistron Neweb CA8-4 firmware to Wistron RDAA-81 device. Doing so may cause your device to become unusable.
