Upgrading Engenius EOC-5610 firmware to OSWaveUpgrading from stock Engenius EOC-5610 firmware to OSWave requires use of intermediary firmware. Both the intermediary firmware and OSWave 2.30R firmware (with Engenius EOC-5610 support included) are available for download here: OSWave_Intermediary_Firmware_for_EOC-5610_v2.zip Please make sure your EOC-5610 bridge is running firmware 1.0.37 prior to upgrade. If necessary, it is available for download here: EOC_5610_v37.zip Please make sure you have these files available on your local drive before proceeding with upgrade. We start by logging into EOC-5610 web interface (on default IP address 192.168.1.1 with login "admin" and password "admin" if you did not change them):
Upgrade process takes approximately 120 seconds after which the device will come back up on IP Address 192.168.1.77. Enter http://192.168.1.77 in your Web Browser and intermediary firmware screen appears:
Browse for OSWave_2.30R.bin file, press SUBMIT and upgrade process will start. Now, it will take about 300 seconds for the first OSWave start and initial system reconfiguration, please make sure to not interrupt this operation.
Downgrading Engenius EOC-5610 running OSWave to the original firmwareIf at any time you decide to downgrade OSWave firmware to the original Engenius EOC-5610 firmware then please follow these simple steps: In the OSWave system please go to the "Upgrade Firmware" link to see following screen:
